PlanPot is an iOS meal planning application developed and published by Anne-Laure Legoeuil ("we", "us", or "our"). You can reach us at the contact address provided in the App Store listing.
PlanPot does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information.
The following data is created and stored exclusively on your device:
PlanPot uses Apple's CloudKit framework to synchronize this data between devices associated with your Apple ID when iCloud is enabled. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is not accessible to PlanPot or the developer.
This sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
PlanPot includes an optional AI-powered recipe import feature. When you use this feature, the text or image you submit is processed as follows:
Your recipe text or image — which may include recipe content, ingredient lists, screenshots, or photographs of recipes — is transmitted securely over an encrypted HTTPS connection to a Cloudflare Worker (a serverless proxy we operate), which forwards it to Google Gemini (Google LLC) for structured parsing. The result is returned to your device. No recipe data is stored on our Cloudflare Worker beyond the duration of the request.
We do not use submitted recipes or images to train our own AI models.

Use of the AI recipe import feature is optional. You can add recipes manually at any time without submitting any data to third parties.
PlanPot uses a credit system to manage AI recipe imports. Credit usage is tracked locally on your device. No usage data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
PlanPot offers optional in-app purchases (a one-time premium unlock and AI credit packs) processed entirely through Apple's App Store via StoreKit. We never see, receive, or store your payment information. Purchases are governed by Apple's App Store Terms.
The free tier of PlanPot may display advertisements served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address information, approximate location information, diagnostic data, and advertising-related interactions in accordance with Google's privacy policies and your device's privacy settings, including App Tracking Transparency consent. Premium users do not see ads.

PlanPot does not currently use any third-party analytics or crash reporting services. If such services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before deployment.
PlanPot is intended for general audiences including families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because PlanPot does not require account creation and does not knowingly collect personal information from children, it is suitable for family use.
All your data lives on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud account. You can delete all local app data at any time by uninstalling PlanPot from your iPhone. Data synchronized through iCloud may persist until removed from your iCloud account in accordance with Apple's retention practices. To manage or delete iCloud data, use the iCloud settings on your device.
Because we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers, there is no data held by us to access, correct, or delete. For any data managed by Apple (iCloud, App Store) or Google (Gemini, AdMob) or Cloudflare, please refer to their respective privacy controls.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you retain all rights granted under applicable law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA). Given that we collect no personal data ourselves, these rights apply primarily to our third-party processors (Apple, Google, Cloudflare) rather than to us directly.
We may update this policy as PlanPot evolves. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Significant changes will be noted in the App Store release notes.
